Come join an organization responsible for being a key enabler of Spacepower!SPA has a near-term need for a Operations Research Analyst - Junior/Journeyman.ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesSupport development and execution of analytical models and simulations for mission performance, system interactions, and architecture behavior.Assist in building scenario baselines, defining analytical assumptions, and developing MOEs/MOPs for use in engineering assessments.Perform data analysis, statistical evaluations, and visualization of model outputs to identify trends and performance drivers.Participate in trade studies, alternatives analyses, and mission-level assessments under senior guidance.Document analytical methods, findings, and recommendations in clear, decision‑ready formats.Collaborate with systems engineers, data analysts, and technical leads to ensure analytical products align with program objectives.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:US Citizenship with TS/SCI clearance at time of application with ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearanceBachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Systems Engineering, or related fieldBasic understanding of modeling, simulation, optimization, or quantitative analysis methodsAbility to interpret complex data and communicate results clearlyFamiliarity with analytical or statistical tools (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB) is preferredAbility to report to designated work location in Chantilly, up to full time, based on the needs of the customerDesired Qualifications:Master’s Degree in Math, Statistics, Engineering, Physical Science, Operations Research, Data Science, or related fieldExposure to digital engineering environments, MBSE methods, or system architecture conceptsExperience supporting analysis of complex systems, operational scenarios, or performance tradeoffsWillingness to learn advanced MS&A techniques, reliability analysis, and forecasting methodsPay Range InformationAt SPA, we strive to deliver a robust total compensation package that will attract and retain top talent.
