Dental hygienist
Job Description Patient Assessment: Review patient medical and dental histories, conduct thorough periodontal screenings, document clinical findings, and communicate oral health conditions to the dentist.
Preventive Hygiene Care: Deliver gentle and comprehensive cleanings, apply topical fluoride treatments, and administer prescribed preventive dental procedures.
Diagnostic Imaging: Expose, develop, and process high-quality dental radiographs in compliance with clinical safety protocols.
Patient Education: Educate patients on tailored oral hygiene regimens, flossing techniques, brushing habits, and preventive dental care.
Infection Control: Comply strictly with OSHA, HIPAA, and office infection control guidelines while sterilizing instruments and maintaining clean treatment operatories.
Clinical Documentation: Maintain precise, comprehensive, and timely clinical treatment records within the dental practice management system.
